WORLD RECORD 1:1 LIFE-SIZE POSTER

July 2, 2009. Manabu Kurita landed a largemouth bass that stunned the world. Seventeen years have passed since that day.

On July 2 — the special day the world record was born — the life-size world record poster returns once again.

What this poster holds is the image of the world record bass, photographed alongside his daughter, then just two years and ten months old. Standing next to his small daughter, the overwhelming size and presence of the fish comes through all the more vividly. A presence so extraordinary it conveys even through a photograph.

Yet the appeal of this poster is not merely “a photo of a big fish.” It is the one fish, encountered after a single angler piled cast upon cast, that remains in the history of world bass fishing. A poster to let you feel that moment, that memory, that shock — at life-size scale.

Seventeen years on, the impact has not faded at all. To those who love bass fishing, we want you to experience the scale of this world record right before your eyes, at least once.

And as you gaze at this poster, we would be glad if it stirs the dream and excitement of bass fishing — the feeling that someday, an unimaginable fish may come to you too.

Every poster is laminated, so you can display it without worrying about stains. In your home fishing room, garage, shop, or boathouse. The historic fish of the world record, right beside you.
